As a commercial brand, we know that we have a responsibility in giving back to the community in which we’re growing our business. We find ourselves surrounded by tons of social and community needs, and we’re more than happy to support and give a step forward in being part of the change

Several community programs are taking place in the surrounding areas of San Jose, Costa Rica. But we found one that called strongly our attention: Fundación Lloverá Comida. Which is a Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) dedicated to reaching out and helping the homeless, working as a bridge between community resources (business / individual services and donations) and homeless people. They are continuously creating volunteer programs as well as events in different areas of the capital and its surroundings, where homeless get their primary needs taken care of such as: medical attention, personal care, food and clothing. All of this is possible with the help of hundreds of volunteers and donors.

This foundation offers different ways to get involved, whether it’s making monetary donations, giving food and clothing, or volunteering and becoming part of the coordination team. Gallo Pin® is committed to participate donating a percentage of its monthly sales, supporting this Foundation and its efforts to make our community a better place.
